Camp McWain is a family-owned collection of cabins, situated on Lake McWain.
In 1964 the Muzik family purchased the camp, making us the third owners of this property since pre-colonization.
Grandpop Muzik first started coming to McWain Pond in the late 1930s when he took a summer job at a boys' camp down the lake.
At the end of WWII, the owner sold the camp and purchased another one “for delicate girls” further down the lake, turning it into housekeeping cottages.
The family from whom he bought it were direct descendants of David McWain, who received the land from the state of Massachusetts as payment for his service in the revolutionary war.
The current proprietors are Mary (Muzik) Mauriello and her husband, Anthony Mauriello.
